New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, May 6, 2021:

May 5, 9:49 a.m. – Austin David Delorn Stephens, 23, Ellettsville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at an initial hearing on charges of misdemeanor operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in body and possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $500 and was released later the same day.

May 5, 4:00 p.m. – Andrew Lee Rippy, 34, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of felony domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. He was being held without bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Richard Klun was the arresting officer.

May 6, 3:00 a.m. – Jeffrey Loren Bowers, 57, Bicknell, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in body. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Linton Police Officer Janzen Franklin was the arresting officer.
