New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, May 4, 2021:

May 3, 12:28 p.m. – Ethan Robert Thomas, 22, Solsberry, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and possession of marijuana, and on a warrant issued in a case involving domestic battery. He was being held without bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Richard Klun was the arresting officer.

May 3, 12:40 p.m. – Cory Joe Sims, 43, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of felony battery against a law enforcement officer and misdemeanor public indecency. His bond was set at $4,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $450 and was released later the same day.

May 3, 5:09 p.m. – Steven Adam Taylor, Sr., 44, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on two warrants, one issued for failure to appear in a case involving felony domestic battery and one issued for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor invasion of privacy. He was being held without bond.
