May 25, 2:21 p.m. – Robert Michael Tanner Hauck, 25, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for an alleged parole violation in a case involving felony battery with moderate bodily injury. He was being held without bond. IDOC Parole Officer Jerry Mahurin was the arresting officer.

May 25, 4:30 p.m. – Nicholas Allen Tuttle, 19, Terre Haute, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of misdemeanor domestic battery. He was being held without bond.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
