New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, April 21, 2021:

April 21, 4:39 a.m. – Kyle Robert Lee, 31, Loogootee, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of syringe and possession of cocaine or narcotic drug, and misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Indiana State Police Trooper Curtis Wilder was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
