New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, February 16, 2021:

February 16, 12:24 a.m. – Jensen Lee Kelch, 30, Terre Haute, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of felony operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction. Her bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Alan Jackson was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
