New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, February 11, 2021:

February 10, 2:02 p.m. – Christopher Richard Porter, 25, Solsberry, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke bond in a case involving misdemeanor criminal trespassing, battery with bodily injury, criminal mischief and possession of marijuana. He was being held without bond.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
