New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, October 26, 2021:

October 25, 7:19 p.m. – Sheldon Shane Alan Bridwell, 30, Lyons, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $9,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Indiana State Police Trooper Richard Klun was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
