New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, September 23, 2020:

September 22, 9:39 a.m. – Barbara Elizabeth Guzman, 59, Linton, Ind., was arrested, transported in from another county, on preliminary charges of felony dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. She was being held without bond pending court appearance.

September 22, 1:05 p.m. – Troy Andrew Monroe, 44, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at a change of plea hearing on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of a syringe. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed.

September 22, 11:09 p.m. – William Gene Meek Jr., 53, Switz City, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, and on a warrant issued out of Lawrence County for failure to appear. He was being held without bond in the Lawrence County case and without bond pending court appearance in the new Greene County case. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Devan Goad was the arresting officer.
