New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, August 3, 2020:

July 31, 5:47 p.m. – Jasmine Marie Streets, 27, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Floyd County for failure to appear. She was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Alan Jackson was the arresting officer.

July 31, 8:20 p.m. – Joshua Tobias Cox, 37, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of a syringe and misdemeanor criminal trespassing. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Officer Joe Riley was the arresting officer.

August 1, 8:09 p.m. – Thomas Clarence Manues Jr., 67, Springville, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony strangulation and misdemeanor domestic battery. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $500 and was released on August 2. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Camron Frye was the arresting officer.

August 2, 10:07 p.m. – Tyler Scott Verhines, 29, Gosport, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of a syringe. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.
