New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, July 27, 2020:

July 26, 11:30 a.m. – Branden Shane Strauser, 36, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance, and misdemeanor invasion of privacy, possession of marijuana, allowing animals to run at-large and possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy James Carpenter was the arresting officer.

July 27, 1:53 a.m. – Douglas Lynn McCall, 39, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of another county in a case involving felony dealing methamphetamine. He was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Adam King was the arresting officer.

July 27, 8:16 a.m. – Chad Arnold Jefferies, 23, Terre Haute, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor battery with bodily injury. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Jasonville Police Officer Dustin Cain was the arresting officer.

July 27, 8:26 a.m. – Tyler Robert Paul Heinich, 27, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor domestic battery and resisting law enforcement. His bond was set at $2,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Det. Shawn Cullison was the arresting officer.
