New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, June 9, 2020:

June 8, 5:47 p.m. – Jess Laverne George, 66, Lyons, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Alan Jackson was the arresting officer.

June 8, 7:53 p.m. – Crystal Lynn Wiley, 36, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony battery on a person less than 14 years old. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $400 and was released later the same day. Jasonville Police Sgt. Brian Pilant was the arresting officer.
