New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, May 13, 2020:

May 13, 12:27 a.m. – Crystal Dawn Wilson, 28, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony battery against a public safety official engaged in official duty and misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment. Her bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Officer Joe Riley was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
