New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, April 21, 2020:

April 20, 11:43 p.m. – Christopher Joseph Afanador, 31, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction and misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Camron Frye was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
