New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, March 25, 2020:

March 24, 12:35 p.m. – Jared Robert Chambers, 40, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony theft and theft with a prior conviction, and misdemeanor criminal mischief. His bond was set at $27,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $2,700 and was released later the same day. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy James Carpenter was the arresting officer.

March 24, 11:46 p.m. – Maranda Jean Peyton, 32, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence on a conviction of felony possession of methamphetamine. She was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.
