New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, March 20, 2020:

March 19, 4:51 p.m. – Dane Russell Bolin, 32, Lyons, Ind., was arrested on one warrant issued on a petition to revoke bond in a case involving felony theft and misdemeanor unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, and another warrant issued out of Dubois Count for failure to appear. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
