New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, March 18, 2020:

March 16, 4:48 p.m. – Justin Chadd Abbott, 29, Carlisle, Ind., was transferred in from another county and a warrant was read to him. Abbott was arrested on a Greene County warrant issued on preliminary charges of felony counterfeiting and theft with value of property $750-50,000. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed but he’s being held without bond in the out-of-county case.

March 17, 3:07 p.m. – Nick Chris Sarris, 40, Linton, Ind., was transferred in from another county and a warrant was read to him. Sarris was arrested on a Greene County Writ of Attachment. His bond was set at $500 cash only but he’s being held without bond in the out-of-county case.

March 17, 4:28 p.m. – William Michael Clark, 21, St. Croix, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor battery resulting in bodily injury. His bond was set at $10,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Terry Wade was the arresting officer.

March 18, 2:41 a.m. – Jeremiah Edward Damron, 35, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of felony possession of methamphetamine. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Linton Police Officer John Agan was the arresting officer.
