New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, March 13, 2020:

March 12, 2:26 p.m. – Wendy Gail Holcomb, 43, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance. She was being held without bond pending court appearance. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy David Elmore was the arresting officer.

March 12, 3:23 p.m. – Justin Lee Helms, 27, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony burglary, theft of a firearm, theft with a previous conviction and being a habitual traffic violator and misdemeanor possession of a handgun without a license. His bond was set at $28,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy James Carpenter was the arresting officer.

March 12, 9:05 p.m. – Travis Jon Richardson, 23, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of felony intimidation. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Camron Frye was the arresting officer.

March 12, 9:35 p.m. – David Otto Shands, 44, Odon, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and battery committed with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $24,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $2,400 and was released on March 13. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

March 13, 12:11 a.m. – James Herbert Johnson, 55, Sandborn, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Montgomery County in a case involving felony possession of a syringe. He was released after Montgomery County released their hold on him. Linton Police Officer Adam King was the arresting officer.
