New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, December 23, 2020:

December 22, 2:50 p.m. – Michael Breyland Tatlock, 25, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Linton Police Chief Paul Clark was the arresting officer.

December 23, 1:24 a.m. – Steven Adam Taylor II, 21, Solsberry, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony aggravated battery, battery committed with a deadly weapon and residential entry. His bond was set at $29,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Indiana State Police Trooper Brad Stille was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
