New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, September 6, 2019:

September 5, 4:41 p.m. – Aaron Isaac Bixler, 32, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Vigo County in a case involving felony domestic battery. He was being held without bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Caleb Garvin was the arresting officer.

September 5, 8:57 p.m. – James Curtis Easter, 56, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of a crime, and battery by means of bodily waste. His bond was set at $2,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Sgt. Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.

September 5, 11:48 p.m. – Jeremiah Eugene McCarter, 21, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of another county for failure to appear. He was being held without bond. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

September 6, 2:43 a.m. – James D. Vestal, 46, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended with a prior conviction. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Jasonville Police Officer Dustin Cain was the arresting officer.
