New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, August 26, 2019:

August 23, 10:38 a.m. – Joseph Alan Grubb, 32, Mooresville, Ind., was arrested on two warrants issued for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor domestic battery, intimidation and interfering with the reporting of a crime, and for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor battery, criminal mischief and resisting law enforcement. Bond information not available. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.

August 23, 4:15 p.m. – Keith Payton Barnett, 21, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in body. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $400 cash and was released on August 24. Indiana State Police Master Trooper Eric Nash was the arresting officer.

August 24, 1:00 a.m. – Troy Shane Criss, 48, Linton, Ind., was arrested on multiple warrants including one issued for failure to appear at an initial hearing on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor invasion of privacy, one issued for failure to appear in a case involving felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe, maintaining a common nuisance, identity deception and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, plus one issued out of Clay County in a case involving felony intimidation and pointing a firearm at another person. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed in both of the Greene County cases but he was being held without bond in the Clay County case. Linton Police Officer Adam King was the arresting officer.

August 25, 1:11 a.m. – Aaron Shane Richards, 27, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $400 cash and was release later the same day. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Zachary Goad was the arresting officer.
