New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, August 22, 2019:

August 21, 9:53 a.m. – Ryan Wayne Botkin, 39, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of a syringe and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy James Carpenter was the arresting officer.

August 21, 10:45 a.m. – Michelle Lynn Snyder, 34, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of a syringe and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. She was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy James Carpenter was the arresting officer.

August 21, 11:19 a.m. – Justin Tyrel Lay, 37, Spencer, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence on a conviction of felony possession of methamphetamine. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Maj. George Dallaire was the arresting officer.

August 21, 11:05 p.m. – Travis Wayne Musselwhite, 38, Linton, Ind., was arrested on three warrants, one issued on a preliminary charge of felony battery resulting in bodily injury with bond set at $10,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed, one issued for failure to appear for an initial hearing on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct with bond set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed, and one issued for failure to appear at a change of plea hearing in a case involving misdemeanor possession of marijuana with bond set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Officer Adam King was the arresting officer.

August 22, 1:58 a.m. – Dustin Howard Baker, 33, Brazil, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of felony possession of a syringe. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed, but he’s being held without bond on a warrant issued out of another county in a case of felony possession of a syringe. Jasonville Police Officer Andrew Duguay was the arresting officer.
