New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, May 2, 2019:

  • May 1, 10:36 a.m. – David John Hoover, 29, Spencer, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of felony domestic battery and strangulation. His bond was set at $20,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed.

  • May 1, 10:48 a.m. – Troy Andrew Monroe, 43, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of a syringe. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed.

  • May 1, 10:08 p.m. – Justin Christopher Cletus Wiley, 30, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor invasion of privacy. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.

  • May 1, 10:23 p.m. – Jeffrey Dale Groomer, 29, Solsberry, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of misdemeanor leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury and driving while suspended with a prior. His bond was set at $1,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Davis Aerne was the arresting officer.

  • May 2, 1:43 a.m. – Christopher Ryan Andis, 20, Switz City, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of misdemeanor battery, domestic battery and minor possession of alcohol. His bond was set at $2,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.
