New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, April 26, 2019:

  • April 25, 5:28 p.m. – Chad C. Featherston, 45, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, criminal recklessness, resisting law enforcement with a deadly weapon and operating a motor vehicle with a lifetime suspension, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He also has two warrants issued out of Monroe County. He was being held without bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Richard Klun was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
