October 3, 11:31 a.m. – Tyler Scott Verhines, 28, Solsberry, Ind., was arrested on an alleged DOC parole violation. He was being held without bond.

October 4, 4:09 a.m. – Mark Steven Perry II, 46, Bedford, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
