New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, October 22, 2019:

October 21, 2:21 p.m. – Chad Damian Fonceca, 43, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor theft. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Officer Orry Phipps was the arresting officer.

October 22, 1:22 a.m. – Matthew Walter Witkowski, 34, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor battery. His bond was set at $500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Davis Aerne was the arresting officer.
