New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, October 11, 2019:

October 11, 12:29 a.m. – Zachary David Daugherty, 31, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Knox County in a case involving misdemeanor disorderly conduct and battery. He was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer John Agan was the arresting officer.

October 11, 5:20 a.m. – Amy Lynn Romine, 39, Jasonville, Ind, was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor intimidation. Her bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Jasonville Police Officer Dustin Cain was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
