New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • September 5 – William Michael Clark, 20, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at an initial hearing on preliminary charges of misdemeanor battery resulting in bodily injury, intimidation, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Greene County Jail Officer Bruce Porter was the arresting officer.
  • September 5 – Christopher Heath Raney, 39, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a Writ of Attachment issued out of Morgan County. He was being held without bond. Jasonville Police Sgt. Brian Pilant was the arresting officer.
  • September 5 – Corey Andrew Tomey, 23, Ellettsville, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.
  • September 6 – Mason Shane Miller, 32, Farmersburg, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor invasion of privacy. He was being held without bond. Greene County Jail Officer Steve Dobson was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
