New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • May 26 – Shambree Leelynn Treadway, 38, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving felony identity deception, and new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic syringe. Her bond on the warrant was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent allowed. She was being held without bond on the drug charges. Greene County Jail Officer H. Wood was the arresting officer.
  • May 26 – Alexander Scott Sullivan, 23, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence in a case involving felony possession of methamphetamine. He was being held without bond. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.
  • May 27 – KC David Crane, 46, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a passenger under the age of 18. Bond information not available. He was released on May 27.
  • May 27 – Brian D. Mangin, 41, Bowling Green, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of misdemeanor driving while suspended – second offense, possession of marijuana with a prior conviction and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $2,500 with ten percent allowed. He was released on May 28 after posting bond. Worthington Deputy Marshal Russell Walls was the arresting officer.
  • May 28 – Justin Curtis May, 37, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a passenger under the age of 18. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent allowed. He was released later the same day after posting bond.
  • May 28 – Kurtis Lee Watters, 27, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony strangulation and misdemeanor battery with bodily injury. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent allowed. He was released later the same day after posting bond. Linton Police Det. Paul Clark was the arresting officer.
  • May 29 – Joshua David Wence, 19, Linton, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of misdemeanor domestic battery, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. His bond was set at $3,500 surety with ten percent allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.    

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
