New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • April 6 – Debbie Ann Hanner, 39, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of two counts of felony neglect of a dependent and two counts of misdemeanor compulsory school attendance violations. Her bond was set at $9,000 surety with ten percent allowed. She was released later the same day after posting bond. Linton Police Officer Debbie McDonald-Miller was the arresting officer.
  • April 6 – Kenneth Kieffer Fielder, 23, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence in a case involving felony possession of methamphetamine. He was being held without bond. Worthington Deputy Marshal Russell Walls was the arresting officer.
  • April 6 – Mark W. Evans, 48, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of four counts of felony child molesting. (A similar case filed in December 2017 was dismissed on April 5, new/current case filed on April 4.) His bond was set at $35,000 surety with ten percent allowed / bond from previous case was transferred to current case. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Anthony Pope was the arresting officer.
  • April 7 – Michael Joe Nickle, 37, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence in a case involving felony domestic battery. He was being held without bond.
  • April 8 – Kelly Jo Webb, 45, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Owen County in a case involving misdemeanor driving while suspended – second offense. She was being held without bond. Worthington Town Marshal James Harrington was the arresting officer.
  • April 8 – Justin Oakley Moore, 21, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of felony residential entry. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Bloomfield Reserve Officer Ryan Montgomery was the arresting officer.
  • April 8 – Michael S. Morin, 39, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of felony domestic battery. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
