Greene County Jail Log

New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • April 20 – Robert Stanley Irvine, 32, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at a change of plea hearing in a case involving possession of marijuana. He was being held without bond. Greene County Jail Officer Darren McDonald was the arresting officer.
  • April 21 – Jessaka Moore, 28, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor battery resulting in bodily injury. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent allowed. She was released later the same day after posting bond. Linton Police Det. Nick Yingling was the arresting officer.
  • April 22 – Robert Michael Tanner Hauck, 22, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence in a case involving felony residential entry. He was being held without bond.
  • April 22 – Charles Clifton Brown III, 38, Evansville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Gibson County in a case involving felony domestic battery and residential entry and misdemeanor criminal mischief. He was being held without bond.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
