/New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:
- March 6 – Heather A. Meaney, 36, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence in a case involving felony possession of methamphetamine. She was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Terry Wade was the arresting officer.
- March 6 – Michael Lance Huff, 40, Springville, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and felony habitual traffic offender and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Anthony Pope was the arresting officer.
- March 6 – Amanda L. Huff, 38, Springville, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. She was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Anthony Pope was the arresting officer.
- March 6 – Lisa Ann Kent, 48, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony residential entry. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Det. Shawn Cullison was the arresting officer.
Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
