Greene County Jail Log

New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • March 1 – Regonel Lane Petoskey II, 49, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating while intoxicated. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Linton Police Officer Jace Herndon was the arresting officer.
  • March 1 – Damian Scott Russell, 21, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a Writ of Attachment. His bond was set at $500 cash only. Linton Police Officer Joe Riley was the arresting officer.
  • March 1 – Gary Wayne Pemberton, 40, Lyons, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony intimidation and misdemeanor possession of a handgun without a license. His bond was set at $21,000 with ten percent allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy David Elmore was the arresting officer.
  • March 2 – May J. Draper, 41, Shelburn, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating while intoxicated. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Jasonville Police Officer Andrew Duguay was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
