New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • December 3, 7:18 p.m. – Chadd E. Anderson, 47, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of felony operating a vehicle while intoxicated. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Linton Police Officer Debbie McDonald was the arresting officer.

  • December 4, 12:25 a.m. – Emily Anne Baker, 35, Springville, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury. Her bond was set at $4,500 surety with ten percent allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Heather Wood was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
