New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • January 26 – Shawnna Nicole Mellinger, 30, Jasonville, was arrested on a Writ of Attachment issued in the amount of $500. Bond was set at $500 cash only. She was released on January 26 after posting bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Jail Commander Ken Conolty was the arresting officer.
  • January 26 – Lawrence Edgar Clark, 43, Spencer, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony battery against a public safety officer, felony disarming of an officer – weapon, felony battery with bodily injury to a law enforcement officer, misdemeanor resisting law enforcement, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and misdemeanor criminal mischief. Bond was set at $25,500 with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Shawn Cullison was the arresting officer.
  • January 29 – Shane Allen Stephens, 45, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor invasion of privacy. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.
  • January 29 – Matthew Joel Jacobson, 30, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony child seduction. Bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He was released on January 29 after posting bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Jail Officer Darren McDonald was the arresting officer.
