New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, May 19, 2022:

May 18, 2022, 12:43 PM, Lloyd Robert Turpin, 50, Bloomfield, Indiana, was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony intimidation and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and refusal to aid an officer. His bond was set at $5500 surety with 10% cash allowed. However, he is also being held without bond on a warrant issued out of another county for a probation violation. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy James Carpenter was the arresting officer.

May 18, 2022, 5:51 PM, Jennifer Rose Baker, 38, Worthington, Indiana, was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor public intoxication. Her bond was set at $500 surety with 10% cash allowed. Worthington Deputy Marshal Heather Wood was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
