Woman arrested during cabin break-in investigation was wanted in other counties

Three individuals were arrested during last week’s investigation into a break-in at a cabin on South Walnut Grove Road. One of them is now facing drug charges here in Greene County but she also had multiple warrants out for her arrest in other counties.

Lisa Marie Armstrong

Lisa Marie Armstrong, 33, Bloomfield, was arrested by Det. David Elmore of the Greene County Sheriff’s Department last Thursday, February 25, during an investigation into criminal mischief and break-in at a cabin on South Walnut Grove Road.

In addition to Armstrong, Jaime Dawn Robinson, 37, and her ex-husband, Anthony Paul Robinson, 38, were also arrested during this investigation. All three were residing at a residence on South Walnut Grove Road, rural Bloomfield, across the road from the cabin.

A story was posted on GreeneStreets last Friday about the investigation and the arrest of Jaime Robinson and an update was posted today. For background about the investigation, find those stories by clicking on the Tag “Jaime Dawn Robinson” below this story.

When a number of detectives and deputies arrived at the residence of the Robinsons and Armstrong, a woman, later identified as Armstrong, was sitting on a trampoline. She got off and walked into the house.

Jaime Robinson had told deputies that she lived in a bedroom downstairs and her ex-husband stayed upstairs with Armstrong.

When Armstrong’s identity was known, a records check revealed she had several warrants out for her arrest.

When Armstrong was asked to exit the residence, she was placed in handcuffs. She allegedly admitted she had used drugs the day before and said she used a smoking device and syringes.

When a search warrant was executed, a number of items of evidence was found downstairs and in a garage area. Upstairs, deputies reported finding a syringe, a white pill identified as Xanax - a controlled substance, a plastic bag with green plant material, a smoking pipe with burnt marijuana, and items of paraphernalia. Armstrong did not have a prescription for Xanax.

Armstrong was booked into the Greene County Jail at 3:54 p.m. Jaime Robinson was booked in at 4:15 p.m. Anthony Robinson was booked in later that night.

Armstrong is facing preliminary charges of:

  • Unlawful possession of syringe, a Level 6 felony,

  • Maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony,

  • Possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor, and

  • Possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor.

The date of her initial hearing is not yet known. As of late Monday, she was still in the Greene County Jail.

Court records show Armstrong has at least three warrants out for her arrest in pending cases in other counties. One warrant was issued out of Marion County in a case involving criminal trespassing, a Class A misdemeanor. In Johnson County, there’s a warrant in a case involving conversion, a Class A misdemeanor, and false informing, a Class B misdemeanor. Another warrant issued out of Marion County involves possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
