Warrant still outstanding for Jasonville woman charged with meth possession

A warrant was issued a couple of weeks ago for the arrest of a Jasonville woman who was out on bond but then failed to show up for a court hearing. She’s facing drug-related charges and the warrant is still outstanding.

Tamera Dawn Crosley

Tamera Dawn Crosley, 23, was one of three individuals arrested during a traffic stop on September 23. She was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over for a turn signal violation. After deputies determined none of the car’s three occupants had a valid driver’s license, all three wound up in jail, two of them on drug charges.

Inside the car in the area where Crosley had been sitting, Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Shawn Cullison reported officers found green plant-like material that field tested positive as marijuana, a white crystal substance that field tested positive as methamphetamine, pipes, a metal grinder, a piece of a straw, and sticky notes with different weights written down next to the words “personal” and “sale” along with other items of paraphernalia.

Crosley’s bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She bonded out and was charged with possession of methamphetamine – a Level 6 felony, possession of marijuana – a Class B misdemeanor, and possession of paraphernalia – a Class C misdemeanor.

A pre-trial conference was scheduled in her case for November 5 but she failed to appear and a warrant was issued for her arrest on November 7.
