Updated with identity of victims: Thursday crash in Jasonville area results in fatality

A crash involving one vehicle in the Jasonville area Thursday evening resulted in the death of a female juvenile. Information released by the Greene County Sheriff’s Department around 2:30 a.m. today indicated two other female juveniles were injured in the crash. Additional information and the names of the victims was released around 10:45 this morning.

GCSD Deputy Alan Jackson, the lead investigator, said emergency personnel were dispatched at 6:21 p.m. Thursday, September 12, to respond to the crash on County Road 1100 West in the area of CR 700 North near Jasonville.

Deputy Jackson reported the one-vehicle crash involved three female juveniles who all reside in the Jasonville area.

Jade-Lyn Alejandria Brassie, 16, was driving a 2003 Lincoln Navigator northbound on CR 1100 West when the crash occurred.

Kaylee Lynn Lane Moore, 16, and Ever Green, 15, were passengers.

All three occupants of the vehicle attended Shakamak High School in Jasonville.

Deputy Jackson reported the Navigator left the roadway and hit a tree on the east side of the county road.

Passenger Kaylee Lynn Lane Moore was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Driver Jade-Lyn Alejandria Brassie was transported to Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.

Passenger Ever Green was airlifted to Riley Hospital in Indianapolis then transferred to Methodist Hospital, also in Indianapolis.

When Deputy Jackson released information at 2:24 a.m. Friday and again at 10:45 a.m., he said the  two juvenile occupants who were hospitalized were both reported to be in stable condition.

Deputy Jackson said the crash is still under investigation.

No other information regarding the circumstances surrounding the crash was released.

Personnel responding to the crash were from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Greene County Ambulance Service E2, E3 and E4, Greene County Coroner’s Office, Wright Township Fire Department, Jasonville Police Department and the Indiana State Police.
