The window to file for seats in the upcoming May Primary Election is now open but will close on Feb. 9. 

Those interested in filing a declaration of candidacy for the following positions should visit the Greene County Voter Registration Office, located in the Greene County Courthouse: 

• Circuit Court Judge

• Surveyor

• Treasurer

• Greene County Council, At-Large (three seats)

• Greene County Commissioners, District 1

• Greene County Commissioners, District 2

Thus far, filings include: 

• Greene County Council At Large - Bryan Woodall (R)

• Greene County Commissioner, District. 1 - Edward Michael (R)
