UPDATE on Friday, June 12: The remains of Adam John Lee have been identified in Georgia
UPDATE on Friday, June 12…. The family of Adam John Lee has been notified that Lee’s remains have been positively identified.
Adam John Lee, 30, of Broxton, Georgia, formerly from the Linton area in Greene County, Indiana, has been missing since May 20 and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has been involved in an ongoing investigation along with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department and other law enforcement agencies. Several days ago, Lee’s mother, from Linton, was notified that investigators believed they had located Lee’s body but the family had to await certain confirmation of an official identification through dental records.
Today, Friday, June 12, the family acknowledged they have now received the confirmation.
Lee formerly resided in Greene County and spent his growing up years here. He also lived here as an adult but was currently living in Georgia. Lee has many close family ties and friends in Greene County.
Locals on social media have been offering condolences and prayers for strength and now that Lee’s obituary is online, messages of comfort may be left on the site of the funeral home.
