Adam John Lee, 30, of Broxton, Georgia, formerly from Greene County, Indiana, has been missing since May 20 and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has been investigating along with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department and other law enforcement agencies. Lee’s mother, from Greene County, has been notified that investigators believe they have located Lee’s body and the family is now awaiting confirmation pending official identification through dental records.

No additional information has been released at this time.

Lee formerly resided in Greene County, spent his growing up years here and he lived here as an adult but was currently living in Georgia. Lee has close family ties and friends in Greene County.

Locals on social media are offering condolences and prayers for strength for this family during this uncertain and heartbreaking time.
