Fugitive from Greene County has been apprehended in Mississippi

The persistence of a Greene County officer in tracking a wanted man on the run out-of-state for well over a year has resulted in the arrest in Mississippi of Levi Cody Snowden, now 23, formerly of Linton. Snowden has three warrants out for his arrest in Greene County in three separate criminal cases…. In one of those cases, former GCSD Detective Jim O’Malley, who now serves as Worthington Town Marshal, was the lead investigator into a burglary that occurred in January of 2019 in southwestern Greene County……..

Suspect in home burglary arrested in Monroe County

A Linton man wanted in Greene County on two warrants was arrested in Monroe County on Monday and charged with felonies involving meth and theft. By early Thursday, he was in the Greene County Jail awaiting his initial hearing on felony charges of burglary and theft.

Ongoing investigation and DNA matches result in charges against two suspects in home burglary

After a home was ransacked in January, a lengthy and involved investigation began. Step by step, a detective followed leads that resulted in charges against two suspects after DNA testing linked both of them to a cigarette that was tossed away on the scene.
