Sunday afternoon RV crash on Lone Tree knocked down power lines and blocked traffic

Power lines were knocked down and both lanes of traffic on Lone Tree Road were closed for a time this afternoon, Sunday, October 3, due to a crash involving an RV.

Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Davis Aerne, the investigating officer, reported Jeremy Stakeman, 38, Brazil, Ind., was northbound on Lone Tree Road south of County Road 200 North when the crash occurred at 2:27 p.m.

Stakeman was driving a 2016 Ford Coachman Pursuit RV when he ran off the roadway and hit a utility pole. The RV then rolled over onto its side.
