GCSD asks for help to locate missing Solsberry man

A Solsberry man is missing and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department is investigating his disappearance. Today, on Wednesday, October 23, GCSD just released more information along with a photo.

GCSD Deputy Jordan Gooding, the investigating officer, reported Saturday afternoon, October 19, that Danny Carpenter was last seen on Friday, October 11, at his residence located on Marcy (Editor’s Note: Could be Macy) Hollow Road in Solsberry.

Gooding said Carpenter missed work for one week and an employee from his workplace attempted to check on him multiple times at Carpenter’s home but Carpenter was not there and his vehicle was not there.

According to Deputy Gooding, Carpenter could possibly be driving his 2012 white Ford F-250 with Indiana license plate TK281NPC.

Gooding said Carpenter is known to frequent the west side of Bloomington.

“His cell phone was pinged in western Monroe County, but the cell phone is no longer on,” said Gooding.

Carpenter is a white male, 62 years old, approximately six feet tall, weighing 250 lbs., with gray hair, brown eyes and possibly a full gray beard.

Deputy Gooding said Carpenter may be in poor health with difficulty in breathing and some mental confusion.
