Solsberry man missing; GCSD investigating
/A Solsberry man is missing and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department is investigating his disappearance.
GCSD Deputy Jordan Gooding, the investigating officer, reported Saturday afternoon, October 19, that Danny Carpenter was last seen on Friday, October 11, at his residence located on Marcy Hollow Road in Solsberry.
Gooding said Carpenter missed work for one week and an employee from his workplace attempted to check on him multiple times at Carpenter’s home but Carpenter was not there and his vehicle was not there.
According to Deputy Gooding, Carpenter could possibly be driving his 2012 white Ford F-250 with Indiana license plate TK281NPC.
Gooding said Carpenter is known to frequent the west side of Bloomington.
“His cell phone was pinged in western Monroe County, but the cell phone is no longer on,” said Gooding.
A clothing description is not available but Carpenter is approximately six feet tall, weighing 290 lbs., is balding and has a white beard.
