Rep. Borders receives summer study committee appointments
/State Rep. Bruce Borders (R-Jasonville) recently received appointments to serve as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Commerce and Economic Development and the Interim Study Committee on Financial Institutions and Insurance.
Interim committees meet throughout the summer and fall to explore and review policy issues and work together to identify solutions. Legislators will hear testimony from the public, experts and stakeholders as they work on bill recommendations ahead of the next legislative session which begins in January.
"We've got a responsibility to keep Indiana's economy moving," Borders said. "Whether it's reducing red tape for businesses or strengthening our financial institutions, I'm looking forward to solutions that create real growth."
