Planned water outage in Jasonville

Jasonville residents will experience a planned water outage on Tuesday, April 28, as crews repair a water leak located beneath State Road 48.

The outage will begin on Tuesday afternoon/evening at approximately 3:00 p.m. and will late approximately three to four hours.

Following the repair, a boil water advisory will be in effect beginning the afternoon of April 28 and will remain in place for at least two days.

Residents should boil all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and food preparation for at least five minutes.

Preparation Tips:

• Store water ahead of time for drinking, cooking, and hygiene

• Use caution when traveling near the repair area

School Information:

• The school will provide access to safe drinking water as needed

• Drinking fountains will not be in use

• Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle from home each day
