One of four suspects in Eastern-Greene football field and track hurdle case arrested
One of the four individuals accused of damaging the football field and stealing track hurdles at Eastern-Greene High School last April was arrested after he failed to show up in court as required and a warrant was issued.
Coby Jacob Farley, 18, was charged with criminal trespassing, a Class A misdemeanor, and theft, a Class A misdemeanor.
As his case made its way through the system, he was scheduled to appear at a pre-trial conference on October 30. He was a no-show so a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Late last week, Farley was taken into custody in Putnam County on the warrant issued in Greene County. Jail records show he has a home address in Frankfort, Ind.
Farley was then transported to the Greene County Jail and was booked in last Saturday, November 17.
Farley has since been released, but a new date for the pre-trial conference has been scheduled and he’s been ordered to appear in court in mid-December.
