Law enforcement officers and rescue personnel have responded to the scene of a serious crash this afternoon in the area of State Road 48 and County Road 1000 West. According to one source, there are injuries and the crash involved three vehicles. According to another, personnel from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, the Jasonville Police Department and Indiana State Police have responded along with rescue personnel. As of 4:15 p.m., it is too early to expect details to be released, but they will be posted when available. While the response and investigation is underway, it would be best if drivers would avoid the area.
