A Monday afternoon crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of State Road 48 and County Road 1000 West (also known as Lone Tree Road) east of Jasonville resulted in the death of one and injuries to two.

David Combs, 71, Marshall, the driver of a Ford 350 southbound on County Road 1000 West, was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
